Shipping policy

  • Deliveries can only be completed within the borders of Switzerland, using courier services by DHL, Planzer Paket or the Swiss postal services - we reserve the right to use the best service available to ensure quick, efficient and reliable service for our customers (unless we receive written instruction requesting otherwise).
  • Normal delivery (Chf 15.00) ~ on orders made before 2pm (Monday to Thursday) these are usually dispatched and delivered within approximately 24hrs. We always do our best to ensure that this turnaround time is adhered to, but we cannot guarantee that orders will always arrive within 24hrs. We do not take responsibility for courier or postal service disruptions or delivery changes by these services outside of our control.
  • Orders made on Friday will be dispatched on the Monday following the weekend. We do not dispatch during the holidays.
  • Express delivery (+Chf15.00) ~ options are available to have your goods arrive on Saturday morning, or by Express delivery anytime of the week, provided these orders are made by 2pm on Fridays. Please write to us with this request if you would prefer your goods to be dispatched with Express delivery. We will update your order accordingly.
  • In cases where dispatch takes place the day before a unique cantonal or regional holiday, we will always do our utmost to ensure that the customer is made aware of the particular delivery disruption, and work to ensure that delivery is completed as quickly as possible, thereafter.
  • Most chilled items will travel in a sealed thermal bag together with an ice pack if required. We reserve the right to use ice packs and thermal packaging at our discretion.
  • Frozen products ~ we cannot maintain frozen products remain frozen to delivery. While we attempt to keep these products as cool as possible using our thermal packaging and ice packs, thawing will occur to varying degrees (depending on the length of time in delivery, and the weather at that time of the year).
  • Cheese ~ we vacuum pack all exposed cheese dispatched from our shop to retain the freshness. Waxed cheeses don't require extra vacuum protection.
