Bonkers V2 is a distinctive English still Chardonnay, blending fruit from the 2022, 2023 and 2024 vintages to create a pure, elegant and saline expression of the grape. Sourced from South Downs vineyards across East and West Sussex and Kent, it is whole-bunch pressed and aged in a mix of French and American oak, with a small proportion of barrels allowed to develop flor for added complexity. Creamy in texture yet fresh and precise, it combines chalk and citrus aromatics with notes of oak spice and brioche, leading to a long, salty, Chablis-meets-Sussex finish. 100% Chardonnay and 12% ABV, this is a characterful, age-worthy wine that benefits from air and time in the glass.
