Sugrue "The Trouble With Dreams" 2020 Sparkling Wine 75cl 12%

The Trouble With Dreams MV is a layered and complex English sparkling wine, blending 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir with 60% reserve wines from 2011, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Sourced from Mount Harry Vineyard in East Sussex and Storrington Priory Vineyard in West Sussex, it is made without malolactic fermentation to preserve its bright acidity and chalky minerality. 30% is fermented in 500L ex-Burgundy barrels, with the remaining 70% in stainless steel, before bottling in July 2022 and 36 months’ lees ageing prior to first disgorgement in July 2024. Finished with a 6g/L dosage and 12% ABV, it offers impressive depth, precision and ageing potential through to 2036 and beyond.
